Do you have a hat that you love but is a bit tired? A collection of old hats that have been given to you? .. Its probably made from quality materials that are no longer available.

Let me re-block it, retrim it, and give it a new life, full of old memories, but bring it to me and lets make a new hat with new memories... a sustainable way to recycle a beautiful hat.

How long does it take?

I suggest a month from start to finish including fittings, although its not always necessary. However, if you have a hat emergency it is always possible to fit you in! With 30 years of experience I can make you whatever you desire, in any colour or material you prefer.

What is the process?

Book an appointment at the studio in Stamford. Bring your outfit, accessories, shoes or swatches and maybe a friend?

We discuss your requirements and try on all the hats you like and design your perfect hat or headpiece. I then create your hat and you come for a fitting when we can make changes and check the fit. You return and collect you millinery fantasy and we make final tweaks and you leave with a beautiful hat in a glamorous box!

It is possible if you live too far away to have a FaceTime consultation and I can walk you round the studio showing you the designs, and decide on what you would like. I then create your hat with photographs to give you options and with your feedback I then make your final design and post it to you!

How much does it cost?

Every hat is hand made from start to finish so much of the cost depends on the time it takes. A simple headband is more economical than a big straw hat with a lot of trim. Prices start at £200 for a band and a large brimmed straw hat starts at £350.
